JUMPING POUND RANCH

ABOUT

Our Story

Karli and Clarence, the owners of Jumping Pound Ranch sitting in the window of a white barn at Jumping Pound Ranch, Alberta.

Welcome, once again, to Jumping Pound Ranch!

We are Clarence and Karli, and while our love story didn’t begin on Jumping Pound Ranch, our story is steeped in the beautiful place we now call home.

For years, Clarence worked in oil and gas, while I worked in sports entertainment. During that time, as fate would have it, we met and went on our first date to a local pub - the rest is history.

We got married right here, at Jumping Pound Ranch, and as time went on, we realized that this place had a lot to offer - beautiful views, a safe place to raise a family, and a unique opportunity for both of us to live out our individual dreams together.

Clarence pivoted his career to start his own ranch, becoming a fourth-generation rancher on this land, raising Polypay sheep and chickens, while I was able to start the wedding venue I had always dreamed of running.

Since then, we’ve grown our businesses, our community, and most importantly, our family - now the proud parents of three beautiful boys.

About the Ranch

Aptly named for the beautiful creek that runs through it, the Jumping Pound Ranch is a 400-acre ranch located 30 minutes west of Calgary, AB.

Nestled in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, it has the best Alberta has to offer: a gorgeous combination of rolling vistas, beautiful mountain views, peaceful creek landscapes, and surrounded by agricultural land.
